Rent a Website Ltd – Terms & Conditions

Services Provided
- We provide a website rental service for $90 NZD per month (“Monthly Fee”).
- The service includes website design, hosting, one business email address, and ongoing updates.
- Optional services (charged separately) may include:
- Domain transfer: $75 (one-off).
- Additional email addresses: $15 per month.
- Email migration (old emails) – quoted case-by-case.
Payments
- The first invoice must be paid in full before work begins.
- Monthly Fee is billed in advance; payments are due on the invoice date.
- Late fee: $10 after 7 days overdue.
- Suspension after 21 days unpaid; termination after 30 days.
Cancellations
- Cancel anytime via email to info@rentawebsite.co.nz.
- Cancellations effective within 7 days of notice.
- No refunds for already paid billing periods.
Domains & Email
- You must be the legal owner to request domain transfer.
- If using your own domain, you are responsible for renewal & DNS records.
- Plan includes one new business email account.
- Email migration/extra accounts are separate paid services.
Responsibilities
- Our responsibilities: hosting, managing, keeping your site online, reasonable support.
- Your responsibilities: providing accurate info & content, no copyright infringement, keeping login details secure.
- We are not responsible for third-party issues (registrars, email providers).
Free Smoko Guarantee – Terms & Conditions
- Eligibility: Applies to new customers on the $119/month plan, for the initial build.
- What’s covered: Your new website will be live within 7 days once all required content is received.
- Exclusions: Delays caused by the customer or requests outside the standard package.
- The Smoko Shout: If we fail, you get a $50 café/bakery voucher + your site completed.
- Limitations: Once per subscription, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash.
